Affordable Housing Act recognises other housing models !
Section 6(2)(b) "A housing authority may, for the purposes of subsection (1), enter into arrangements with a community-led housing organisation, a housing co-operative or a community land trust."
The regulations which define what these terms (CLH, CLT, co-operative) mean in an Irish context are yet to be released, Cost Rental and Shared Equity elements of the Act are their fundamental priority at present.
